Auchentoshan 12 Year Old Double Cask is a Lowland single malt, triple-distilled and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in two types of cask: ex-bourbon American oak and Spanish oloroso sherry oak.
The nose has sweet pastry, citrus, nuttiness and a green, leafy note. On the palate come sweet vanilla, hazelnut, tangerine and lime, with lemon zest and oak also described. The finish is gingery and slightly dry.
