Auchentoshan 12 Year Old Double Cask is a Lowland single malt, triple-distilled and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in two types of cask, ex-bourbon American oak and Spanish oloroso sherry oak, which add a subtle fruitiness.
The nose brings sweet pastry, citrus, nuttiness and a green, leafy note. On the palate it is smooth, with sweet vanilla, hazelnut, tangerine and lime. The finish is gingery and slightly dry.
