Auchentoshan 12 Years Old is a Lowland single malt, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery is known for triple distillation, and this twelve-year-old matures in both bourbon and sherry casks, which add complexity to the malt. The name Auchentoshan means 'corner of the field', and 1825 is regarded as the year the distillery was founded.
The house style is very light, fruity and marked by lemongrass.
