This is an 18 year old Lowland single malt from Auchentoshan, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in American bourbon oak.
Auchentoshan, in Glasgow, is the only distillery in Scotland to triple distil all its whisky, which gives a light but lengthy dram.
Expect plenty of vanilla, citrus zest and caramelised nuts, with a touch of ginger and cocoa at the finish.
