This is an 18 year old Lowland single malt from Auchentoshan, in a 70cl bottle at 43%.
The whisky spent at least 18 years maturing in bourbon casks.
Auchentoshan is generally dated to 1825, although there are signs that the distillery was working from around 1800. Around 1984 Stanley P. Morrison bought it to join Bowmore and Glen Garioch in his portfolio. The company is now called Morrison Bowmore and belongs to Suntory.
