This Auchentoshan is a 13 year old Lowland single malt from Signatory Vintage's The Monuments of Scotland series, bottled at 50.8% ABV. It was distilled in 2013, finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The label shows St Andrews Cathedral on Scotland's east coast, consecrated in 1318 in the presence of Robert the Bruce. The whisky comes in Signatory's Ibisco decanter. The nose has apple, citrus and orange peel with caramel, dark honey, dates and cinnamon. The palate is soft and full, with apple, milk chocolate, toffee and cinnamon. Sherry sweetness, cocoa and dark chocolate linger in the finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
