A 30 year old single malt from Auchentoshan, distilled in 1990 and bottled by Douglas Laing in December 2020 for its Xtra Old Particular series. It matured for three decades in a single refill hogshead, and 298 bottles were filled by hand.
The nose offers vanilla, malted barley and boiled sweets. On the palate come toasted oak, candied nuts, green apples, pineapple chunks and creamy porridge.
