This is a 9 year old Auchentoshan single malt from the Lowlands, bottled by Douglas Laing for its Old Particular range. It was distilled in January 2014 and bottled in July 2023 at a natural cask strength of 59%, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in a single refill barrel, cask DL17384, and 203 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. Auchentoshan was founded in 1823, stands near Glasgow and is one of the few Scottish distilleries to distil three times. The label describes creamy barley, hard candy, vanilla and freshly cut grass.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
