Auchentoshan American Oak is a triple distilled Lowland single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks made of American oak, which give a soft whisky with lively notes of vanilla, spice, coconut and toffee.
The nose is fruity, with tropical lime, vanilla, coconut cream, cane sugar syrup, mint and a little oak. The palate brings maple syrup, toffee, custard, lychee and orange, balanced by cinnamon and nutmeg.
The finish is creamy, with custard, apple, chestnut and vanilla.
