Auchentoshan American Oak is a Lowland single malt and a distillery bottling, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. Auchentoshan lies on the western edge of Glasgow, close to the River Clyde and the Erskine Bridge, with water from the Kilpatrick Hills. It uses three stills of different sizes for triple distillation, a method once usual across the Lowlands. The distillery is said to date from around 1800.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
