This Auchentoshan is a 10-year-old Lowland single cask from Douglas Laing's Old Particular range, bottled at 48.4% ABV. The distillery stands near Clydebank by Glasgow and distils its spirit three times. The refill barrel was filled in January 2014 and bottled in September 2024, giving 298 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered with no added colour and comes in a pale cardboard tube.
Dried apricot and lemon peel lead the nose, with coconut and a hint of vanilla oak. The palate is thick and creamy, with tropical fruit, syrup and sweet malt. The finish brings toasted almonds, cereal, green apples and toffee.
