Auchentoshan – The Bartender's Malt Batch 2 (2018) (70cl, 50%)

This is The Bartender's Malt from Auchentoshan, an annual limited edition single malt. Batch 2, from 2018, is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It was developed with bartenders in mind and is made to work both neat and in cocktails. It combines Auchentoshan's triple distillation with the higher strength, which gives extra body. The nose offers fresh citrus, vanilla, light spice and soft malt. The palate is full and round, with orange peel, honey, oak and pepper, leading to a medium-long, warm and slightly spicy finish.
