Auchentoshan – The Bartender's Malt Edition 01 (2017) (70cl, 47%)

This is Edition 01 of The Bartender's Malt from Auchentoshan, the first release in the series. An annual limited edition from 2017, it is bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was developed with professional bartenders and is meant to hold its character both neat and in cocktails. It is a triple distilled Lowland single malt. The nose is fresh citrus, green apple, light vanilla and malt. The palate is soft but full, with orange peel, honey, biscuit and subtle oak. The finish is medium in length, lightly spicy and dry.
