Auchentoshan – Virgin Oak Batch Two Limited Edition (70cl, 46%)

Auchentoshan Virgin Oak Batch Two is a limited edition Lowland single malt, the second release in the Virgin Oak series. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. As the name suggests, the malt matures in new oak casks. The distillery is generally dated to 1825, although there are signs that whisky was being made on the site from about 1800. Stanley P. Morrison bought it around 1984, and under the Morrison Bowmore name it now belongs to Suntory.
