Avignonesi Nobile di Montepulciano 2021 shows natural balance and clean expression. The glass reveals ripe red fruits and plum, violet shades, and a light touch of tobacco and sweet spices, with a toasty note adding depth. The vintage gives compactness and fine tannins. On the palate it is medium-full bodied, with silky tannins and lively acidity, supported by savouriness and a finish recalling fruit and a subtle earthy vein. It is already enjoyable now but has good ageing potential.
