Axe and the Oak is a three-year-old bourbon from Colorado, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. The mash bill is 70% corn, 15% rye and 15% malted barley. On the nose it is buttery caramel, rounded oak, warm corn and vanilla. The palate brings soft caramel with a vanilla icing note, fresh leather and cinnamon butter, and the finish is round and soft with fine wood notes.
