A three-year-old rye whiskey from Colorado, bottled at 49% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley. The nose has sharp rye spice, earthy notes, orange peel, cinnamon and black pepper. On the palate there are ripe oranges on rye bread, fresh oak and baking spices with a balanced sweetness, plus dried cherries with caramel. The finish stays on the palate for a very long time, with sweetness and spice in balance.
