Bain's Cape Mountain Whisky is a South African whisky made from 100% South African yellow maize, in a 75cl bottle at 43% abv.
It is matured twice in first-fill bourbon casks. The spirit spends three years in the first set of casks, then moves to a second set of first-fill bourbon casks for a further 18 to 30 months. The aim of this double maturation is a smooth, rich flavour.
