Balblair 12 Years Old is a Highland single malt aged for at least 12 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks and double-toasted American oak casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The distillery stands at Edderton in Ross-shire and was founded in 1790 by John Ross. It was rebuilt in 1895 by Charles C. Doig, who kept the original water source, the Ault Dearg, which the distillery still uses today.
