Balblair 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt that joined the distillery's core range when it was relaunched in early 2019, the point at which Balblair moved from vintages to age statements.
The whisky is first matured in ex-bourbon casks, then moved into first-fill Spanish oak butts.
The nose brings leatherwood honey, spicy gingerbread, juicy prunes and fresh lemon peel. The palate is velvety, with dark chocolate, tropical fruit and spices, and the finish is long and mellow with creamy vanilla and citrus.
