This is Balblair 15 Year Old, a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It is full-bodied and velvety.
The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in first-fill Spanish oak butts, giving a rich, sweet character.
The nose is spicy, with honey, gingerbread and prunes. The palate is velvety-smooth, with dark chocolate, tropical fruit and warm spice.
