Balblair 15 Years is a Highland single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It matured in ex-bourbon casks and in first-fill Spanish oak casks. It is described as round and velvety, with a texture like melted chocolate and a notably fine finish.
The nose is usually noted for spicy leather and oak, gingerbread, buttery shortbread, citrus, berries and plums. The palate is medium-bodied, with creamy chocolate, citrus, bourbon vanilla, a touch of leather and spice. The finish is long, creamy and fruity, with vanilla biscuits, melon and tropical fruit.
