Balblair 18 Year Old (70cl)

Balblair 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in dunnage warehouses with earthen floors, starting in American oak ex-bourbon casks and then finishing in first-fill Spanish oak butts. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The whisky pours an oiled cedar colour and reflects the distillery's bright, fruity house character. The nose combines rich toffee and baked pears with supple new leather. On the palate come juicy apricots, seasoned oak and vanilla custard, followed by a long, warming finish with fresh spices and raisin.
