Balblair – 18 Year Old

Balblair 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured first in American oak ex-bourbon casks, then in first fill Spanish oak butts. The second maturation adds depth, spice and sweetness, while the bright fruit character of the distillery remains. In the tasting notes, the nose offers rich toffee and baked pears with a backdrop of new leather. The palate combines juicy apricots, seasoned oak and vanilla custard, and the finish is long and warming, with fresh spices and raisins.
