This is an 18-year-old Highland single malt from Balblair, bottled at 46%. It matured in American ex-bourbon casks and was then finished in a first fill Spanish oak butt, which brings deep, rich sherry notes alongside the sweetness from the bourbon casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
Tasting notes describe rich honey and stewed fruit, with dark chocolate, cinnamon and subtle spices. The finish is long and soft, with warm oak.
