Balblair 1991 is the third release, from 2018, of this Scottish single malt, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
The nose brings salted milk chocolate, pecans drizzled in honey and baked apples dusted with icing sugar. The palate is light and sweet at first, then turns malty, with notes of butter pastry and a lasting mouthfeel.
