Balblair 25 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It has developed and mellowed for more than a quarter of a century, and is described as concentrated, full-bodied and rich with the dark intensity of chocolate praline and spices.
The colour is hot copper. The nose brings overripe apricots and dark liquorice against polished oak and a touch of saddle wax. The palate is full-bodied, with oily citrus, chocolate praline and a faint note of fresh tobacco leaf. The finish is warming, with smooth chocolate and blood oranges.
