Balcones Baby Blue is a straight corn whisky from Texas, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is described as the first Texas whisky since Prohibition.
The mash is 100% roasted blue corn, which gives the whisky a deep, nutty and buttery character.
It is typically described as showing toasted maize, sweet vanilla, honeyed butter and a hint of cinnamon spice, with a lingering warmth in the finish. It suits sipping neat or mixing in cocktails.
