Balcones – Brimstone Corn Whisky (75cl, 53%)

Balcones Brimstone is a smoky corn whisky bottled at 53% in a 75cl bottle. Its smoke does not come from peat, as in Scotch. It comes from Texas scrub oak and a secret process of the distillery's own. The nose offers brown sugar and stewed fruit, with barbecue notes behind them. On the palate it is spiced, with sweet fruit, charcoal and barbecue sauce, followed by a smoky, peppery finish.
