Balcones Lineage Texas Single Malt Whisky (75cl)

Balcones Lineage is a Texas single malt from Balcones Distilling in Waco. It is made from two barleys: Scottish Golden Promise, an early-maturing spring barley, and barley grown on the Texas High Plains. The whisky is matured in both refill oak casks, as is usual for Scottish single malt, and virgin charred oak casks, the American tradition. Balcones brings the two together deliberately in a single bottling. After maturing, the whisky is proofed slowly by hand, and each batch is labelled with the type of wood used for the finish. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
