Ballantine's 17 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It has been matured for a longer period to build depth of flavour and character.
The nose is smooth, with vanilla and oak and a sensation of smoke. The palate is full and complex, with vibrant honey sweetness, creamy vanilla, and hints of oak and spicy liquorice.
The finish is long, sweet and smooth, with a hint of spice.
