Ballantine's Finest Scotch Whisky Decanter 1970s

Ballantine's Finest is a blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s, in a decanter. It is pale gold in colour. The nose is floral, with peat and malt alongside. On the palate there is fruit, mainly apples and oranges, with a pleasantly resinous note, cough sweets and a yeasty, natural character. The finish is longer than expected and becomes peatier as it goes.
