Ballechin 15 Year Old is a small batch, cask strength bottling and the first release in this edition, with 3,126 bottles filled. It was matured in first fill bourbon barrels and second fill Oloroso sherry butts, and is peated to 50 ppm.
Strong peat smoke meets a sweet sherry character in a full, rich dram. Earthy peat, gently sweet smoke and dark ripe fruit come through, with hints of roasted coffee and dark chocolate.
