Baller Single Malt Whiskey (75cl, 47%)

Baller is a single malt whiskey from California, bottled at 47% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was created with Japanese-style highballs in mind, which gives it its name. Master distiller Lance Winters calls it a California take on the Japanese spin on Scotch whisky. The mash is 100% American barley, mostly two-row pale malted barley with the remainder lightly roasted. After distillation in pot stills, the whiskey is aged in used bourbon casks and French oak wine casks, and filtered through maple charcoal. It is then finished in casks that held house-made umeshu, a Japanese-style plum liqueur made from California-grown ume fruit.
