Balvenie 16 Year Old Triple Cask is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is a marriage of whisky from three types of cask.
The Oloroso sherry butt adds depth, rich fruit and spice. First-fill bourbon casks give sweetness and vanilla, while refill casks contribute consistency and light honey notes. Balvenie was built in 1892 by William Grant and his sons, and the distillery remains in family ownership.
