Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured for 14 years in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in casks that held Caribbean rum.
Malt master David Stewart chooses his own blend of West Indian rums for the finish. When he judges the casks ready, the rum is replaced by whisky that has already matured for at least 14 years.
It is described as having Balvenie's soft, honeyed character with toffee, a hint of fruit and a tropical sweetness, followed by a warm, lingering finish.
