Balvenie Madeira Cask is a 15-year-old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from 2022. It was matured in traditional oak casks, then given an additional finish in Madeira wine casks, which adds depth and a sweet-and-sour tension.
The nose shows honey, dried apricots, warm spices and subtle wine aromas. The palate is full, round and elegant, with toffee, candied fruit, raisins, citrus zest and a hint of roasted nuts. The finish is long and softly sweet, balanced between wood and fruit.
