This is a 17-year-old Balvenie single malt from Speyside, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is light and floral, with violets and lavender, and a balance of delicate smoke, honeyed vanilla and spicy oak. On the palate the smoke fades slowly, giving way to oaky honey and vanilla, while cinnamon and nutmeg build gradually.
The finish is long, sweet and spicy, with a light trace of smoke.
