Barajas Reposado is a tequila made from Jalisco agave and aged for eight months in new French oak. The brand was founded in 1997 by Gerardo Barajas, whose production method uses a desfibrador to aid oxygenation and the extraction of the pulp. Only 2,500 bottles of the reposado are made, each one crafted by hand by Mexican artisans.
The nose offers raw and cooked agave, pineapple and peach, lime and a touch of pear. On the palate it is herbal and citrus, with cooked agave, lime and a delicate minerality.
