A red wine from the Barbaresco area, made from Nebbiolo and aged for a long time in cask. It shows a bright garnet red colour. The nose offers ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, with violet, sweet spices, tobacco and leather. On the palate it is enveloping and structured, with well-present but velvety tannins, freshness from Nebbiolo acidity and a harmonious, complex finish. It suits red meat, game and aged cheese, and benefits from a little air before serving.
