Barbera D'Alba DOC - Oriolo

A red wine from the Langhe, made exclusively from Barbera grapes. The calcareous-clay soils give it structure. After fermentation it ages in oak barrels, adding vanilla and sweet spice aromas and softening the tannins. In the glass it shows ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with light black pepper and tobacco notes. On the palate it is fresh and balanced between acidity and body. It pairs well with Piedmontese dishes such as braised meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
