Oriolo Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC

A red wine from the Langhe, made mainly from Barbera. After initial fermentation it ages for at least 12 months, partly in wood. Deep ruby in colour, it shows ripe red fruit such as cherry and plum, with delicate spicy and slightly balsamic notes. The palate is enveloping, with lively Barbera acidity giving freshness and easy drinking. It suits meat dishes, aged cheeses and traditional Piedmontese recipes.
