Bardstown Bourbon Co – Collaborative Series Foursquare Blended Whiskey (75cl, 54%)

Foursquare is a blended American whiskey from the Bardstown Bourbon Co Collaborative Series, bottled at 54% in a 75cl bottle. It combines 7 year old rye with 17 year old bourbon, and the blend was aged for 23 months in Foursquare rum barrels. The aim was to bring out Barbados flavour. Plantain, toasted almond and clove sit alongside coconut, peanut, orange zest and raisin. The palate balances rye spice with aged oak, and the finish is full and complex, with baked fruit, lingering spice and caramel sweetness.
