Bardstown Bourbon Company – Discovery 2026 (75cl, 56.4%)

Bardstown Bourbon Company Discovery 2026 is a limited release that blends straight bourbons of 7, 10 and 11 years old. It is bottled at 56.4% (112.8 proof) in a 75cl bottle. After blending, the whiskey spent a further four months in custom barrels of Garryana, or Oregon White Oak, made by Oregon Barrel Works and hand-toasted for three hours. Summer maturation was chosen to encourage contact with the oak. The label artwork is by Louisville artist Margaret Archambault. The nose is toasted oak, burnt sugar and baked apple cobbler. The palate brings dried cherry, cinnamon bark and caramelised fruit, and the finish is long and warming with toasted oak and cinnamon.
