This is an American whiskey from Bardstown Bourbon Company, made in collaboration with the West Virginia Great Barrel Company. It is a limited release, bottled at 55% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The blend brings together a 6-year-old Indiana rye whiskey and a 12-year-old Canadian corn whisky. It is then finished in custom hybrid cherry oak barrels, toasted using infrared technology. The palate is rich and silky, with baked cherry, cinnamon, almond, dark honey, herbal tea and toasted oak, set against rye spice. The cherry oak adds berry compote and potpourri, and the finish is long.
