This is a 15 year old bourbon from Barrell Craft Spirits, bottled at cask strength at 104.9 proof. It was distilled and aged in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee, then crafted and bottled in Kentucky.
The nose moves between minerals, tart fruit, woody spices and rich nuts. On the palate, a delicate quality gives way to a strong presence of oak. Adding water brings out a creamy character and turns the nose lush and tropical, a little like a hazy IPA.
