Barrell Craft Spirits Gold Label Dovetail is a blend of American and Canadian whiskeys, crafted and bottled in Kentucky. The component whiskeys were distilled in Indiana, Tennessee and Canada, and include whiskeys aged up to 25 years.
It follows the Dovetail method of finishing and blending, with the whiskeys finished in rum, port and Dunn Vineyards cabernet barrels. They stayed in those finishing casks for longer, and some very high proof barrels went into the blend. It is bottled at cask strength, 140.18 proof.
The palate moves from strawberry rhubarb pie to toasted marshmallow and wintergreen, and the finish brings tropical fruit.
