Barrell Craft Spirits Gold Label Release #2 18 Year Old Bourbon (51.1%)

This is a blend of straight bourbons aged up to 18 years, bottled at 51.1% ABV (102.2 proof) as Release #2 of the Gold Label series from Barrell Craft Spirits. The barrels were drawn from four groups: some with rich cherry and nutty notes, some with spicy, tropical fruit character, some with pronounced herbal and dark chocolate notes, and some with oak-forward coconut notes. The coconut group had a secondary maturation in toasted virgin American oak casks before it went into the final blend.
