Basil Hayden's Kentucky Red Wine Finish is a bourbon bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It combines the Basil Hayden high-rye mash bill with bourbon partly aged in Californian red wine casks.
The colour is toasted brown with amber hues. The nose has dried fruit, cherry, vanilla and a hint of toasted oak. Sweet cherries and charred vanilla oak come through on the palate, followed by a warm finish and a crisp, delicate mouthfeel.
