Basil Hayden's Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Basil Hayden's is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and described as a small batch bourbon. Its story begins in 1796, when Master Distiller Basil Hayden Sr. mixed small grains into the mash on top of the traditional corn base, expecting the spicy flavour of rye to complement the sweetness of corn. The bourbon is described as having hints of peppermint, notes of pepper and slight citrus overtones, finishing spicy and warming.
